I love this region. This breathtaking coastline and unforgettable blue of the water. Oh!
I start today post with Fort Bragg. Famous because of its Glass Beach, the town has a much more than this beaches which make your heart stop.
Glass Beach
I was at the Glass Beach almost two years ago. And It wasn’t that much impressive as for me.
The next, and more strong emotions I felt in October of 2014 when we stayed at the Pine Beach Inn. The hotel was a total disappointment. On the cold October night, it froze us to the bones. They have a private beach, which was the great thing there. Secluded, foggy and awesome.
Pine Beach Inn Private Beach
This hotel left do unpleasant experience; Eugene wasn’t happy to stay at the Fort Bragg this time. And I glad the trip and place changed his mind finally.
Pudding Creek
We stayed at the Best Western Vista Manor Lodge. And the first thing we saw it was a big window looking on the Pudding Creek Beach and Bridge. Low clouds made sunset especially atmospheric.
Jughandle State Reserve
It wasn’t the most popular place in the list. It was in the maybe section for that day. We wanted to stretch our legs a bit and drink a coffee before the long day of driving. So before exiting Fort Bragg and heading to the south by the Coastal Highway, we exit to the parking lot of Jughandle.
What I liked the most is the view on the place where creek flow into the ocean and the bridge above it
It’s awesome how many beautiful photos this trip made. That’s the main reason I split the trip into two part. Stay tuned, the second will be soon
