Decent hiking in Russian ridge open space preserve. I love this place for breathtaking views on Santa Cruz mountains.


Why the ridge is Russian? It was named for Russian immigrant who had a dairy farm here in the beginning of 20 century.


For the this hike we selected Ancient Oaks. I picked a lot of acorns for table decorations.
