Oregon Coast. From Newport to Florence

Ah, my last post about our vacations in Oregon. We woke up in Newport and went exploring the town.
Heceta Head
Newport Bay and downtown around it is a fascinating place. We walked along Fisherman boats

And of course, bay light – Yaquina Bay Lighthouse

Built in 1871 it was active only three years. And stopped working as soon as Yaquina Head Light was built

And we drove south. All the way to Cape Perpetua

I read somewhere that this the most scenic place on the Pacific coast.

But that day it was the windiest and cold place on the Earth! Maybe it was the reason we moved soon to the Heceta Head.

When we stopped bright sun lighted on the ocean waves. We rushed up to the lighthouse and keeper’s house

Oh, guys, this trip was unforgettable! I wish we could return and check all fabulous places on the south coast, around Medford and Willamette Valley. I would like to check all fantastic places around Mt Hood. And of course, East Oregon!
