It was our second hike in the Uvas Canyon Park. And I expected a lot. A year ago we visited in March, and with all delight that I felt, I saw thin streams, dry stones, and boulders. We planned a hike on Sunday, and Friday has significant rain which made me even happier.
We skipped Tripple Falls in the Alec Canyon and moved from the back side. I love to start from Contour Trail – fewer crowds, longer hike.
The first and my most favorite waterfall is Upper Falls.
The lower you go, the more people you meet. When you are near Basin Falls, you need to wait in the queue to have a chance to take a photo.
Even though we were before 10 AM in the park, parking was almost full. But I afraid it’s all because of the nice almost Spring weather.
The Black Rock Falls is less popular than any other waterfalls.
And the Granuja Falls:
It looks like it was the last seasonal waterfall hike. So I’m happy to look forward wildflowers season 🙂
