My lifetime bucket list has few point with hot air balloons rides. I cannot imagine how someone will not have a warm heart seeing this marvelous invention of the humankind flying in the morning skies.
When in 2015 we visited Sonoma Hot Air Balloons I experienced the euphoria. Bright blue skies covered with the dozen of colorful balloons came to my dreams for a long time. I wanted to experience this feeling again.
This year the show had more balloons. And this time we managed to wake up super early to see the sunset patrol.

The hardest part of the event is to wait after the launch of the sunset patrol when the main part of the event starts.
