I love this place. Not that popular as the main camp of Big Basin but has all features of the biggest. But what I always liked the most are cabins.

Just to clarify it’s not the glamor cabins that are popular nowadays. It’s a simple structure with simple two-floors beds and nothing else inside. But what else is needed in the Santa Cruz Mountains? 😉
We arrived after 6 PM on Saturday and started our campfire.

But the best part of the camping in the woods is breakfast.

Last time we did this hike in the end of June last year. It was a hot day with a bright sun and hard light. This time clouds covered part of the sky and view become even more pleasant.
