I heard a lot good words about La Jolla: sea lions, beaches, impressive cliffs and waves. I checked all this on Saturday Morning.
I started from the North on the Coastal trail that leads to the Scripps Pier.
Here I get the best ocean view.
And then I went down to the pier. Sandy beach safe for swimmers and surfaces stretched here
Beach ends with the cliff. The most popular and beautiful area of La Jolla starts with this cliff.
La Jolla Cove is the must stop in La Jolla.
And then in the short walk, you’ll see sea lions
Not just see – you could touch them
And more lovely views
And famous Children’s Pool
See but do not touch 😉
And more views
I had lunch (oh, tacos) and drove to the Black’s Beach.
Way with thousands of steps, some of them are dangerous and treacherous
Black sand beach, with a high wall of sandy cliffs, is a nude free. But it is a good view point to check glides in the air.
Above this line of beach, there is a Torrey Pines Gliderport.
And it’s the best place to meet sunset
