Jack London State Historic park

I wished to see wine country during fall. Last year my friend drove me in Napa. This year we walked in the most beautiful place in Sonoma. We visited Jack London State Historic park.

Located near Glen Ellen park represents all features of Sonoma. Handsome houses, magnificent oak and redwoods trees, ranches and, of course, wineries.
There are guided tours where you will hear about how Jack London bought this land, designed and built his Wolf house.
We started from House of Happy Walls

And then we went to the ruins of Wolf House.

You know, if not a fire this building will be as majestic as Hearst castle. Maybe small but eccentric and awesome!

But the most stunning place is an old winery. First you’ll see cactuses and old stone buildings.

And then – wineyards. All yellow with bits of green and red – oh, fabulous view!

And that small old cottage with a magnificent old oak tree. What could look better?
