I wished to see the wine country during the fall. Last year my friend drove me to Napa. This year we walked in the most beautiful place in Sonoma. We visited Jack London State Historic Park.
Located near Glen Ellen park represents all features of Sonoma. Handsome houses, magnificent oak and redwoods trees, ranches, and, of course, wineries.
There are guided tours where you will hear about how Jack London bought this land, designed and built his Wolf house. We started from the House of Happy Walls.

And then we went to the ruins of Wolf House. You know, if not a fire, this building will be as majestic as Hearst castle. Maybe small but eccentric and excellent!

But the most stunning place is an old winery. First, you’ll see cactuses and old stone buildings. And then – vineyards. All yellow with bits of green and red – oh, fabulous view!
