How would you start first weekend of fall? Ha! Pumpkin patch!












It was a good day. Foggy and warm near ocean, with big waves. And sunny and hot in the valley. I was glad to try new recipe of heirloom tomatoes tart with a lot of goat cheese.It tasted like pizza with a bit of homemade cheese.
About farms. All area around Half Moon Bay is like big pumpkin patch. From the end of September till the Halloween all fields are almost orange! I tried to find farm with hay maze and a lot of pumpkins. And it was Arata Farms!
Big maze, hundreds of pumpkin with all possible sizes and colors. A bought few small for table decoration and two big. One with classic shape and size for carving. And the second bright red for… who knows for what!
