Two waterfalls of Gifford Pinchot National Forest

When I planned this trip to Washington, I realized how impossible it is to visit all places I want in just one week. The snow-covered volcanoes, emerald green forests, islands, and waterfalls. Almost with tears, I crossed out places from the list.
Though these two waterfalls I wanted to visit. Both of them are named as jewels of Columbia River Gorge.

Both waterfalls I will show are in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. And the hardest part is to drive and find them. You can find Panther Creeks on Google Maps and drove using the route Google suggests you. It’s easy to spot gravel pullout where you can park. Then you need to find the trail. Luckily, I read this post and learn where to search for the trailhead.
At first, we stopped at the observation deck, which has an excellent overview of the falls. And then went to the base of the waterfall. The falls are gorgeous! They tell it’s 130ft in height and jaw-dropping.

Later we took another trip on the forest roads (and part of them were dirt and gravel) to visit Falls Creek Falls. When we finally arrived at the trailhead (and yes, Google Maps also showed it correctly), we saw an almost full dusty parking lot.
These falls were the ones from the trip, which actually required a hike to it. The trail was crowded and hot in the exposed parts. But I would say it’s easy. You need to walk just 1.7 miles to the base of the lower falls. And of course, you will find the big crowd there and even the line to take a photo with waterfalls.
There are a few angles that you can actually check, but the view is impressive. It was the beginning of July, but falls were in the full volume, and the spray cooled the air.
