Snow is the magical thing. When it covers the ground, you could not stop to be cheerful and happy and festive!
The day after Thanksgiving was the most stunning I ever had. Bright blue sky with light snow clouds! Strong winter storm wind blew all night long. And snow cover everything! We did morning hike to the lake.
One of the easiest interpretive trail Lam Watah became the most wonderful path!
We played for a while 😉
And finally we reached the lake.
Sand beach was all white except small line before water. It looked like a pie with reach cream on the top.
After lunch, we proceeded our exploration of Nevada side of the Tahoe. And drove to the Logan Shoals Vista point.
Then we stopped at the Cave Rock. On Summer, it’s a boat launching station, and during Winter months it becomes picnic spot and great overlook.
The weather began to worsen, and we decide to move closer to the town. I saw few times this place on Pinterest, and I wanted to stop here. We drove to the Zephyr Cove.
It’s a small cove with a sandy beach and the wharf.
Tahoe Queen steamboat stands at the cove for a Winter.
Started to snow and light became very mystical.
We stand on the wharf for a half an hour watching crazy du cks.
