One of the most touristic place near Portland and not surprisingly. We drive and hike along most beautiful part.
We began from Cascade Locks and headed Wahclella falls. There were no crowds because of early morning. Lower falls.
Upper falls are my favorite.
Next stop was Ekowah falls
After that we moved to the Horsetail falls. We did part of the Oneonta Gorge trail.
And ponytail falls are amazing!
Trail goes behind falls. Ah, I’m in love!!!!!
Trail passed view point with awesome breath taking view
And we finished neat upper falls
We return to the horsetail falls and I did a dozen of photos!
And of course we visited Multnomah falls
I hardly remember any other crowded place like this in Oregon. Maybe it confuse me. And that was the reason why I scarcely like this waterfall
Wahkeena falls
And the next one is my favorite. Bridal Veil falls charmed me with this golden light and clear air
I walked down to the water and rest there for half an hour and it was the most pleasant moment of the day
And of course we stopped at the Vista House
Did you saw such beauty?
And the view from Women’s Forum State Scenic Viewpoint
We stopped in Cascade Locks at Best Western. Our room had colorful view on the river. Especially during sunset
Beautiful waterfalls; sadly we only went to Multnomah falls. We hiked to the top of Multnomah and loved it.
